Hi Experts,
Following is the scenario,
2 file type with same name but different extension need to be transfer sequentially. unless first is posted corresponding second file should not be transferred.
FTP --> PI --> SFTP
.txt file first (size 1-3 GB) followed by .control file second (size in KB)
No control file should be transfer if .txt file transfer fails.
I am using SAP PO 7.4, kindly guide on how this scenario can be achieved?

Hi Nitin,
You can use feature "Maintain Order at Runtime" in ICO in ID. This will ensure that .txt file will be placed first and then .control file.

Hi Supriya,
thanks for your answer, does this option guarantee processing of .txt file first and .control file later. Can we provide the sequence of processing? Also Sender location may have multiple .txt and .control files pair available at the same time, will this option will be sufficient to identify pair?

If you are using some system that has an NFS mount on your PO system then you can have it process by name or date. I can't tell based on the extensions you have mentioned if name would work or not.
