ATP : Confirmed Qty Issue

Hi Friend,

I am facing an issue with confirmed Qty, like in Sales Order the Qty is showing confirmed but in Delivery it is not capturing the complete sale order qty.

Ex :

In Sales Order : ABC material code having a qty of 57 CV and it is also showing in confirmed one, but when i tried to do delivery it is showing only 16 CV are available. Open qty 57 CV.

I think i need to process Back Order or not ?

Please confirm.

This issue has been solved, it was Master data issue.

Please check in the sales order if the storage location is entered,this ensures correct qty confirmed.

Well, BackOrder processing doesn't really solve such problems, it just reorders existing confirmations.  Before you perform BackOrder processing, you should know why the current situation exists, and you should have a very good idea of what the result will be after you process your Back Orders.

There can be many reasons that your sales order item is fully confirmed but your delivery is not.  The most common one is that your Sales orders are configured to use a different scope of check than deliveries.  Under these conditions, it may be considered acceptable that the sales order is fully confirmed, but the delivery cannot be confirmed.
