how to create optional prompt (conditional) in universe?

Hi My dear Friends ,

I need some suggestion from you,

environment 4.1 DB2 db

table as follows

Class  Batch Num,  Acct no , Comments, Amount

12       23              2345         customer     2000

based on above table i've two types of query filters

parameter values for first selection

class :   sus

class type :reject

Batch No : 234

date range

filters for second selection

Class : sus

User id : 234

amont <> transaction sum amount : open

or

amount = transaction sum amount : Closed

date range : xxxx

all two selctions are optional prompts

for open and closed not their in DB can we create object @ universe level which should be optional prompt

all this two selection should be on one tab

for front application Item status = Open or closed or optional is it possible

please help me ....
