Error during Master Data Upload through Template (HCI)

Former Member

Hi Experts,

I am trying to upload data through templates using HCI. The template chosen by me is SOP_MD_LocationMaster. I have validated both source and target system connection. I have made no changes to the data flow. While running the task I am getting a RFC CallReceive error which says : "The destination SAPDS has not been maintained". The error number is R3C-150412.

The exact error message is as follows:

|Data flow Location_Master_DF_SOP_LocationMaster|Reader Location_Master_R3_SOP_LocationMaster|Transform Location_Master_R3_SOP_LocationMaster__Driver RFC CallReceive error <Function RFC_ABAP_INSTALL_AND_RUN: RFC_ABAP_MESSAGE- The destination SAPDS has not been maintained! (see long text).

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Does your RFC connection look like the one in below image?

RFC Destination: SAPDS

Program ID: blank

Hi Alecsandra,

Thanks a lot for your prompt response. That issue seems to have been resolved with the settings you suggested.

However now we are facing another error during the same load task which says: "Source

0PLANT_ATTR not found or not released (program RODPS_OS_EXPOSE)"

The exact error says:

|Data flow Location_Master_DF_SOP_LocationMaster|Reader Location_Master_R3_SOP_LocationMaster|Transform Location_Master_R3_SOP_LocationMaster__Driver

Execute ABAP program <C:/ProgramData/SAP/DataServicesAgent/abap/Location_Master_R3_SOP_LocationMaster.Aba> error <Source 0PLANT_ATTR not found or not released (program RODPS_OS_EXPOSE)>.

Thanks,

Paul

Is 0PLANT_ATTR extractor released?

First you have to check if the entry is available in ROOSATTR table with EXPOSE_EXTERNAL flag set. Then, if the entry is available run report RODPS_OS_EXPOSE, select your datasource and release it.

The entry is not available in ROOSATTR table. Can we manually update the entry in the table or is there some other method? Is there any associated risk in maintaining the table manually?

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Alecsandra,

Need your help again.

We resolved the previous errors. However, now when we run the location master upload task using the pre-defined template, we are getting the error "SOPMD_STAG_SM1LOCATION is not a valid 'SNOP' target table".

When we look at the DATASTORES section, we find the table SOPMD_STAG_SM1LOCATION being defined as a "SOURCE" table. Is this normal? Shouldn't it be a "TARGET" table as we are passing data to it from our ECC source. Is the error because of this?

The exact error message for your reference:

"Data Services Engine received error message from server.

URL: https://integration.onDemand.com/DSoD/agentmanager/data_loader,

Error message: Target table validity check failed.Unable to load data.""SAPSOPG"".""SOPMD_STAG_SM1LOCATION"" is not a valid "SNOP" target table.."

Thanks,

Paul

The template you use specifies SM1LOCATION as a target table. Do you really have this table in S&OP? I would assume that not.

Solution: Select the data flow -> Actions -> Copy to new target -> select your location table (table must already exist in SOP datastore configuration)
