Adding lines to a Quotation via ME47

Dear Gurus,

I'm facing the following issue. After converting a RFQ into a Quotation, business will need to add lines to the Quotation directly, either for additional services or items that are not necessarily in the RFQ.

After I've imported the items, all the subsequent lines are grayed out. When I click the "Add Lines" button on top, I'm not getting any new lines. Does this button cover additional functionality that I'm missing? Is this a bug that I have to find an OSS note for?

Thanks in advance....

Paul

I don't think it is possible to add a line item for RFQ in ME47.

Whatever you see in ME42/ME43, you can see the same in ME47.

SAP has made the t-code separately to just maintain only quotation.

As of my knowledge, its not a bug or something else, it is system designed.

That makes sense. However, what's the use of that button then? Then description is clearly "add lines"....
