Change or not change SID in DMO

We plan to NOT change SID during our BW migration to Hana using DMO.

-- Is it possible to change the SID in above procedure?

-- Cons and pros for changing or not changing SID during DMO?

P.S.. I know I can change the SID after DMO is done . But I am only interested in if we change SID during DMO.

HI,

I am not sure SID can be changed with simultaneously using DMO.

As far as the note says, you upgrade/migrate same SAP system.

Also, rename can always be done before or later using SWPM

As far as I know there is no possibility to change the SID and also the SID is not changed during the database migration using SUM. If you migrate a database using DMO only the database is changed.
