Marketing attibutes : Industries

Hi experts

I want to make Industries as a marketing attribute. I mean that i want to make a target group based not on address or shopping frequency but on industries classification.

Is there a solution for that ?

Then you need to use this attribute in an attribute list. You need to define the same in transaction CRMD_MKTDS:

You can then go ahead and use the filter for that attribute in segment builder:

But i think you just explained how to create new attributes.
I just want to explain you that industries already exists in the CRM
is there a way to link marketing attributes to industries ?

Hello,

if you know the table that stores the industries (maybe table TB038A fulfills your requirements) you can create a check table for the same and create the industries marketing attribute from format check table. This is in case you want to create the segmentation based on the marketing attribute.

Alternativ you can use the field BUT000-IND_SECTOR directly in segmentation. For that you need to create a data source selecting that field.

Yes i tried to work with check table but the one used with industries has too many fields and can't be used as check table.

How are you creating attribute list ? You can use the join feature to have the mix of fields from different tables. The table CRMM_BUT_FRG0041 also contains the industry field.
