Unable to activate the process chain in Dev system.

Hi Gurus,

Unable to activate the process chain in dev system showing error at infopackage process type.

Please find the attached error.

Any suggestion...

Hi,

You need to cross check whole your data flow, all objects are in active or not.

later you can check thru process chain.

What's your process chain data flow?

Like

start variant-->info pack -->delete index-->dtp--->create index--> fill aggregates if exist?

Again recreate your process chain,save and actiavte it. it may works.

Assuming as your data source was active in bw side.

My process chain dataflow is start variant--->Infopack-->Dtp(Dso) -->Activate-->delete index-->cube....

I have checked all objects are active, but still facing same error.

Your system is new//fresh one?

is this is new data flow?

As my guess your system is new one and all process types are not in active version.

Hi Raman,

Its not a new system we have only two systems Dev/Quality and production.

This is not a new data flow, In production system its working fine.

How do i make process type as active ?

if systems is not new then no need to check about proces types.

Can you delete the old variant and crate new variant for info pack and use it.

Seems, the infopackage (use in process chain) has been deleted from the system. In RSA1 search for that infopackage with technical name.

And you might have created new infopackage. Add new infopackage in process chain and activate.

Hi All,

Issue got resolved after doing copy of old infopackage, then i did exchange variant in process chain for the error process type (Infopackage process type).

Check your info package is active or inactive, May be problem with info package and let me know if any issues.

Hi Somesh,

Your screen shot clearly shows that your info package is not in active version.

First activate the info package

Also check the DS, is it in active status or not.

If not replicate it again and make sure that the DS and respective info package is in active or not.

After that activate your process chain again.

its throwing error during activation of process chain.
