what is string offset onset ?

hi friends...

am having one problem

email id field is there that field having values also

but problem is

ex: rrrrrrrrrr@gmail.com

      aaaaaa@yahoo.com

like that email id is there in that mail id middle value i want it means 'gmail' & 'yahoo' only before value and after value i don't want.

but using string only.

I really do not have a clue what you are asking. Can you rephrase your question please ?

I'm going to lock this thread as 1) the original question makes very little sense, so it is almost impossible for people to help you and 2) I suspect it is a very basic question about string manipulation with ABAP, which could be answered by searching and/or reading help.
