The IN_UPDATE method is after the save event where you cannot return to the work order screen. If you need to return to the work order, then use AT_SAVE method.

The main benefits of the IN_UPDATE method is that you have the OLD and NEW values for the various tables, and that an order number has been assigned.

      thanks for your quick replies.

then can I change any values on corresponding notification while the time of IF_EX_WORKORDER_UPDATE~IN_UPDATE execution by using "PERFORM XYZ ON COMMIT"?

I don't know which structure holding the values for newly creating notification at the moment.

thanks for your kindness advice in advance again.
