NetWeaver SLD Information gone missing

Hello NetWeaver Experts,

I have limited experience with the java side of NetWeaver.

I have 2 SAP GRC 5.3 systems on NetWeaver 7 that have lost their connection settings to our SLD.

The SLD can be started and maintained; it’s operating as expected. No issues with it.

On the GRC systems when I go to:

Web Dynpro tools > Content Administrator

The only active button is ‘Check SLD Connection’

When I click on Check SLD Connection I get the following. All the SLD connection information is missing. I know what the settings should be but I don’t know where/how to maintain them.

Please help.

Hi,

If your system is above 7.02, configure the SLD_Client destination as below.

Configuring the SLD Client - Configuring, Working with and Administering System Landscape Directory ...

Hi Shuai,

Our system is 7.02 so we have to use the 2nd method which requires access to the J2EE Engine Visual Administrator which is accessed from the OS. I don't have access to the OS level on these systems. I will have to submit a ticket to our hosting partner to resolve this issue.
