Is there any way we can get the version of standard text.

Text can be changes in every year or quarter so i would like to see the version management.

or is there any other option to support my requirement. If my text is getting change few times in a year like so...

Thanks,

Mahesh

I doubt if you have version control on Standards text.

One option I could think would be to create couple of standard text with naming ending the year like adresss_2014 , adress_2015 etc... and build the SO10 text name dynamic from sy-datum+0(4)

Thanks Jay !

I did thought about it, if there is no way to see the versions of SO10.

I should go and build my own z* program and maintain the version with object name(TDNAME) with date time stamp or some logic i will build.

Any example program is available to use long text in my report screen ?  (I found the way how to do with z* program)

Thanks,

I would suggest the same as Jay. Put you can easily proof it by doing ST05 while changing and saving in SO10 and look in your trace which tables and which the records were changed.
