We are trying to create an OAuth 2.0 client using the SOAUTH2 transaction. When we press the 'Create...' button, we are getting a "No authorization to create OAuth 2.0 clients" error. We tried this using a SAP* account and SU53 doesn't show any authorization errors, so we think this error message is probably indicating a different problem than authorization. Does anyone have an ideas about this? Could we be missing some configuration we should have performed?
The problem was that the user needed the S_OA2_CL authorization object. SAP* does not have this object. Once we added this object to our standard Basis role, all went as documented.
The SAP Help files have this object listed as S_OA2C_CL. This appears to be an error.
