Restrict components in overview tree in MD04

Hi,

Requirement is that we need to restrict the components in overview tree in MD04. Say, A is the header material whose component is B, B's is C and C's is D. Now, we want the users to see only till C. Another thing is that, say C can be at BOM level 2/3 or 4, depending on the header material. I tried with MD4C using Overall Profile, but it is hard to fix a hierarchy level in this scenario.

Please suggest.
