PIR Number not showing in ME5A

Dear all,

In ME5A we cannot see the PIR and, as a result, we cannot access it from there. I put some print screens. Please, can you help me in finding why this is like this?

Hi,

   Ensure that the info record has been added to the source list and the same is maintained with correct validity period. Now, in ME51N or ME52N, go to "source of supply" tab and click on "Assign Source of Supply" button. The source of supply (info record / contract or any source) will be determined automatically. The source will be displayed in the source of supply tab as well. Save the PR and check again in ME5A - thae info record number will be displayed.

   If its not getting determined, check the KBA: 1888035 - Trouble shooting for incorrect entries in transaction code MD04 which explains the standard design and the possible issues.

Unfortunately your all screen shots has given nothing at all about your issue.

Give a full screen shot for ME53N - Source of supply tab and ME5A with info record field(as below).

There is a field Info record in ME5A output, If you do not find it, then check your layout.

If you can see the info record number in ME53N - "Source of supply" tab, then you will able to see the field in ME5A.

You can also access the info record by double click.

If you requirement is different then please elaborate.

Thank you. Please open the screen 1. Is from ME5A and the last column that can be seen is the PIR one. There is nothing.

In the tab Source List, from the ME53N there is only the Vendor number. But, as you can see in the attached print screens, from Environment/Info record from ME53N the PIR can be accessed. Nor from ME5A.

In your initial screen shot "Environment - Info record " is showing "Please choose a valid line"

That means you system can't find any PIR for this line item.

Also you can see in ME53N - Line item, you do not have any info record, then how can system show you the info record number in ME5A ?

Press F1 for info record in both ME53N and ME5A. You will find the same field name and data element.

Both are coming from table EBAN and field INFNR.

If you do not see any info record in table EBAN - INFNR, then you will not able to see any info record in ME5A.

Just input a info record for the purchase requisition from ME52N - Source of Supply tab, then you can able to see this info record in ME5A.

The problem is that the PIR is created and not showing in the ME5A or in the source of supply tab, in ME23N, but, from the display PR TCode, I can go to Environment/Info Record, and I can see it. Probably is not maintained as it shod. Unfortunately, I have no access to check.

Can you tell me how you have assigned the source of supply for the PR line item ?

What about EBAN table ?

Is it happening for any other PR  ? Can you able to re-create the same issue in development or Quality client ?
