Property sheet for com.sap.security.core.ume.service set to final

Hi folks I need some help here,

In our PI 7.31 we don't have login for a user with administrative auth. so I need to activate the SAP* user. I have done this many times in other systems but this is different.

I did change it in globals->clusternode_config->workernode->services->com.sap.security.core.ume.service but it's not working as it seems that the efective template is ZATPL_AIO.

So I tryed to change it there

But I can not change the Property sheet for com.sap.security.core.ume.service as it is set to "final"

When I try to remowe the "final" I get the error:

Error: Error occurred: The ConfigEntry '#@ume.superadmin.activated' in configuration 'cluster_config/templates/default/Z

ATPL_AIO/cfg/services/com.sap.security.core.ume.service/properties' is final. No modify operations are allowed on inheri

ted final ConfigEntries!

How can I change that? Or what else can I do

Kindly regards

Torben

Hi

I know how to enable the emergency user and the UME is local, the problem it that the active template is set to "final" (please note the red arows on the folders)

The guide to change UME datastore is not helpfull, sorry.

Hi Torben,

I haven't checked much on this.

However, I do have a KBA which seems to address similar issue.

Please have at this

1623383 - Failed to save property changes in NWA due to 'unable to apply properties in DB'

Also see, if this helps.

1596787 - Error activating emergency user on 7.1 J2EE AS

Hi Divyanshu

Note 1623383 - Failed to save property changes in NWA due to 'unable to apply properties in DB' solved the problem.

I was able to remove the "final" flag under

Configurations

       -> cluster_config

           -> system

              -> custom_global

                 -> cfg

                    -> services.

Thank you for your fast and efektive help!
