Fiori mandatory UI for Solution Manager 7.2?

Hi,

We are going to upgrade our Solution Manager system from 7.1 to 7.2, but we are not ready to introduce a new UI/ Fiori to our users. Are Fiori UI mandatory for 7.2, or could we continue using ITSM on 7.1 UI ?

Hi Karl

You can use ITSM without Fiori in like in 7.1 using SM_CRM transaction.

The Fiori part will give you specific "additional" app's (as far as available for ITSM scenario) and the Fiori Launchpad of course which can be the "home page" for end-users of SAP Solution Manager. Once they would click a tile, they enter the web dynpro or UI5 or CRM UI (in ITSM case) application that belongs to that scenario.
