career for sap end user

hello,

i am very confused about my career.

i am working in bhushan steel limited, sahibabad, ghaziabad as a SAP SD end user from last one year.

i want to start my career in SAP SD module. Kindly advice me what to do in that case as i am much worried.

Hi,

most of the companies wont entertain sap end users but you can learn SAP-SD and join any small companies on sap for a initially break,once you are equipped with enough experience you can aim for big companies.

Hi Vatsalya,

When you apply for big SAP Implementation partners, they considered to take SAP End Users, however they prefer to take 3 years or more.  You may get break into SAP sometimes if luck favors you.

1. Prepare very well for interview functionally and technically in SAP SD side.

2. Have full configuration knowledge of business end to end processes Third Party Sourcing, Make to Order, Stock to Sell, Intercompany, Credit Management etc?

3. Apply for a job in small consulting companies and get an interview.

4. Now you know what they are expecting and then refine your search accordingly.

5. Approach every time in different way but do not lose your hope... Just keep on trying one day you will get it.

SAP SD is heavy competition because if you take last one month discussions, you can see most of the time SAP SD discussions were on.  So, you can see the amount of people they would like to get into SAP SD and other side SAP SD is core in SAP ERP and you will have always a bright path in it.
