Our PI 7.31 in NWA when I check memory utilization it is at 98% in Dev, QA, Prod.

Subject kind of covers it.  I am not a basis expert, just kind of looking around and see this is red and at 98% in all our regions.  Is this normal?

Hi Neal,

That is an high memory consumption.

You should to check with your basis team your PI SP level if what is the cause of this problem. For example, could be a problem with the sync messages, refer this note   1638783 - Memory optimizations with synchronous messages audit log

First of all i would analyze whether  the problem persists with the last SP patch.

Basis checked into it and all looks good on the server side itself.  A 30% cache remains.  They said PI eats/uses up all memory that you give it.  All systems are running fine, so I think we are okay.  Sorry for the bother.  Neal

I don't think that its normal. If it reaches 100% then PI system can crash causing Out of Memory exception. Report to basis team.
