Adding Planning Level in Excel

Hi All,

We are trying to add a third planning level (Default is 2) in Excel but have not been able to make any headway through Chart Feeder.

Can anyone please share how this can be done???

Regards

1/ Add an extra drop down list (Developer -> Insert ->Combo Box)

(If Developer tab is not enabled you need to add it from Excel Options – Customize Ribbon)

2/ After you designed the box, the next step is to: Right Click on it -> Format Control -> Control where you have to input the Input Range and Cell Link

For the KFs the input range is RANGE_KEYFIGURES. This is already assigned, you can check Formulas ->Name Manager.

For the planning dimensions you will need to add new naming for each new dimension that you would require in the chart.

e.g: RANGE_ATTR_PL3 for the 3rd planning level

3/ Make the necessary changes in Chart Feeder sheet

Above data feed the planning level attribute value in the drop down list on the planning view sheet.  You need to extend with PL3 w/o gaps and PL3 data condensed.
