Issue with Project in CMOD - Need to Delete

Greetings,

I need to delete\remove an existing project from CMOD as were currently experiencing short dumps (ST22) for PO\PR and Contract create due to this.

Currently the project is activated as you can see in the image. However its causing issues at the moment, fortunately this is still in the development client.

Requirement: What is the correct steps to take to completely remove\delete this project from CMOD. Please be precise with the steps to take. I have blogged a number of blogs and have an idea. But need a definitive step by step procedure so i can take to the abap team and work with them on this one.

The objective is to 'reset' all against this project in CMOD to its previous sate and have this project in CMOD deleted entirely. There is no current ABAP code we want to keep within the exits listed.

2.Deactivate Project

3.Delete Project

Hi Nikesh,

Thanks for responding at such short notice, I’ll take this to the ABAP team tomorrow. Just 1 or 2 questions;

1.Deactivate Enhancement : Does this get done in CMOD as well, just confirming?

2.Deactivate Project

3.Delete Project: Once deleted, is there no subsequent step required afterwards, like a reactivate step again, just to confirm?

All the 3 steps to be done in CMOD

Im Attaching screen shots for the same

Refer 1st image to deactivate Enhancement,

2nd image to deactivate and delete Project

Once deleted ,no further action required

A final question before we attempt; Do we need to manually remove the field entry from the 2 tables as per below, or will the delete step do this automatically?

Yes you need to delete the custom include fields manually.

Make sure these fields are not used as reference in any other program

What dump are you getting?

For this user exit you have to create and activate all sub screen.. otherwise it leads to dump.

Read the documentation.
