Error in Organizational Management.

Dear All,

I have created an Organization in IDES using Expert mode which includes Org units(PO10), Positions(po13) and Jobs(PO03). I just want to see the same in Org and staffing method (PPOSE). I am using the evaluation paths such as A002, A003, A012, B002, B003 and B012. I have checked the Table T778A mentioned evaluation paths are available in the Table T778A.

Error:

No evaluation path specified for structural evaluation

Message no. 5A249

Diagnosis

You want to start structural reporting, but you have not specified an evaluation path according to table T778A.

Please suggest how to resolve this issue.

Go to table V_T77AW or OOAW select any one of the evaluation paths Eg B002 and double click on Evaluation path individual maintenance (Top left side on the screen) and check both the clients are having same values or not.

Similarly check for evaluation paths.

Can you check table T77UA whether any of the authorization profiles maintained next to USER ID.

We will go step by step Go to PO10 and enter your Organizational unit and select the box relationships and click on Shift+F8 then check what are all the relationships you have maintained for your Root Organizational unit.

PO10 given Org unit enter and selected relationships, did Shift+F8(Overview)

Relationships maintained are B002 Is Line Supervisor (O), B012 Is Managed(S).

You expand organizational unit under find by use the free search option and enter your Root Organizational unit ID and check once whether it is available or not.

Hi Vekatesh,

Sorry for the delay..

Step 1: Given T code: PPOME / PPOSE then hit enter, It gives me an error. Please find the screen shot below.

Step 2: Then again when I hit enter or click on ticket. Then it taking me to the main screen where i can see my org unit and its sub units in hit list on the left side as mentioned in the below screen shot.

Step 3: When i click on the Key Org unit from hit list it says "No Evaluation path specified for structural evaluation".

Though i search through SEARCH TERM, getting the same error.

kindly suggest how can we solve this issue.

Suggest you compare the below two tables T778A and V_T77AW for the two clients, in case you are not aware of the OU related exact evaluation paths to be checked.

I am able to see the Positions and able to see the reporting structure as well.

So there must be a problem only with Org structure.

Go to PO10 and PO13 and give plan version as 01 and enter * Position and Organizational unit fields click on F4 then select any one of the object from list then check the box relationships whether you have maintained all relationships properly according to the evaluation paths and check the validity period of Root organizational unit.

Why you don't use t code PPOME? Find your root Org. Unit and check if the relationships with other objects are correct or not.

Thank you for the reply, I have checked using T code PPOME but it is not displaying. when I give T code PPOME and hit enter it gives me the error " No evaluation path specified for structural evaluation". Please find the screen shot below.

Then again when I hit enter and in search when i give the org unit name using Organizational Unit--> Search Term I am able to see the Org units which i have created but when i click on org unit it says " No evaluation path specified for structural evaluation"

Cross Check your plan version in table V_T77S0 and check which plan version was being used to create organization structure.

Plan version which is used in configuration is Current Plan Version - 01.

Hi Neha,

Thank you so much for the reply, I have checked the links and checked the tables as well but every thing looks fine.

I have two client in IDES, I have created so many org units in Client1 which are working fine able to see the same org unit in PPOSE, but this is the first time I am creating in Client2. There are other organization units created in Client2 even those are also having same problem it says, "No evaluation path specified for structural evaluation"

I have compared the tables with each other clients and every thing looks similar.

However the T.code HRAUTH  does not exists in both the clients.

I know I am missing something but how to rectify that?

For client 2, are you the only one who is facing this problem or other members as well ? If you are the only one, then I guess you may have to check at roles level authorization. If everyone is facing the problem, then it's a configuration related issue.

I have tried to check other Organization units(created by someone else). I have faced the same problem.

If it is related to configuration let me go through the configuration once again. Mean while do you any idea from where exactly this error is coming from? how to rectify this issue?

No, no one is able to view the org structure via PPOSE, I hope this must be a problem in the configuration. I am just going through it. I will update you on this.
