we use valuation area plant ( this mean material stock valuated at plant level and each plant can have it's own material price )
My issue
my company need don't need to to have defrant material price for for each plant but need to have the same price in the all plants
so please tell me the solution
Thanks
Hi..
You already know the answer.
To apply the same price for the same materials in all plant, you should set valuation area at company code level .

If you want to use product costing?
Maintain Special procurement keys on the material master to transfer cost from a single source plant.
We do this for plants in 3 or 4 company codes, with 10 plants. -- all standards are the same.
How does moving average in your topic fit into the question?

Hello,
Unless I am wrong, valuation at company code level is not compatible with PP and in any case this is a client level setting that cannot be changed in a productive system.
Indeed the use of special procurement type in the costing view of the material combined with a transfer variant in the costing variant is the option for FG and SFG. For raw material and trading good, an unique standard price can be manually set.

Dear Sam,
Item groups Valuation method should be Moving Average. In company details you have to enable Manage Item Cost Per Warehouse option. Based on this selection you can retrieve Average price based on each plant wise.
Thanks,
Ashok.
