Purchase Requisition with Release date in the past

Hello Gurus,

PPDS heuristic is generating Purchase Requisitions with Release date in the past when using Transportation Calendars. Let me explain the case:

Configuration in the system:

- Transportation lane between LocA and LocB for Material X

- Transportation Calendar in the Transportation Lane: Only Wednesday

- Planned Delivery time 2 days

Numerical Example:

- Situation: Today Tuesday 24th we are in shortage

- Lead time: 2 days

Case1: MRP run without Transportation Calendar:

Purchase requisition with:

-Delivery date on Thursday 26th

- Release date on Tuesday 24th (today)

Case 2: MRP run with Transportation Calendar (calendar with delivery day on Wednesday)

What is expected--> Purchase requisition with:

Delivery date Wednesday 1st of February (no possible to deliver on Thursday 26th due to transport calendar)

Release date on 30th Jan. (respecting lead time and calculated based on Delivery date)

What is now happening -->: Purchase requisition with:

Delivery date on Wednesday 25th (but lead time 2 days!!! Wrong)

Release date yesterday Monday 23th (no possible!)

Please could you help me on this issue?

The reason why we are using transportation Calendars in the TL is to fix a delivery day at Vendor-Plant level. This calendar is not only Plant dependent, it also depends on the vendor. Two different vendors deliver on different days at the same plant. Thats why we cannot manage only Plant Calendars.
