Unable to Create an Inforecord _Msg_Enter a valid Value

Hi All,

Unable to Create an Info record , Screen shot attached , Its an Test client , Able to see the Infor ecord in change mode  But unable create an Inforecord

All master data Looks Ok , still facing the issue

Hi,

The system is yours and we cannot know what exactly the master data are there and what logic is playing this error to populate.

Better debug ME11 with values what you posted with the help of an ABAPER and ask him to check why this error is populating and reason behind the same.

Better post the reason if you came to know after debug.

In month May, we got the same issue for source list..

Have a look into the discussion. There are many possible reasons were discussed.

Checked , But error was not fixed , Only suggestion provided , I am facing this issue for all the Purchasing master data while creating

It is unfortunately a common problem that people lacking to close their discussions or to share the solution if they solved it by their own.

This would of course make it easier for the readers as they could directly jump from the question to the answer which is marked correct. However in such an eternal discussion with more than 30 replies it is often the case that they go sidewarts and an answer is marked correct which has not much to do with the initial question. So it is always worth to read the entire discussion. This gives you as well an insight into an approach how to solve question on your own.

This discussion had many hints from others and this should have helped you too to remember k if you had done such things like changing length of material number or changing from pure numeric format to lexicographic while you had already data in the system.

Dear Moderator/All,

I was facing that error in IDES demo server but i was unable to close the issue with all possible solutions given by the SCN team. After some time (around 6 days) when i tested the same, i didn't find any same  error for the sourcelist/PIR.

If i was knowing the solution, then i would have helped to resolve the error or i could have closed the thread.
