HR P&F: Launch form from Personal Profile page

Hi Experts

I've a requirement to show a link in ESS personal profile page to open form (built in FPM) to add dependent instead of using ADD button in HRESS_A_PERSINFO application because it requires 2 level approval before updating Infotype.

As far as my knowledge the form can be launch from ASR_PROCESS_START_OVP application but is there any way to provide link in ESS->Personal Details page to launch form by employee.

U want to add the HCMPF app link in personal profile, is this the correct understanding? if yes, its possible to show link or u can embed ur HCMPF app in personal profile too

Yes, I want to add HCMPF appl.link in personal profile page under Family dependent overview page.. So if an employee want to add new family dependent then he can click on the URL in same page instead of NEW button to launch FPM form where he fill new dependent details and submit for HRadmin for an approval.

Could you share your idea how to achieve this task.. Appreciate if you can share any sample code

I think its better to remome exiting FAM and add new UIBB with link and some explanation.

Read this wiki for Personal profile and HCMPF integration, it talks about similar kind of requirements.

These will hep u in adding new uibb or updating uibb in personal preofile

Thanks Yugandhar Reddy for your quick response.. I could able to show a button in Personal profile page where employee can launch form directly. But when I click the button it doesn't show the process list.. Here with an attached the screenshot.

I copied the role ' ' to include the Z process but still no luck.

Do you have any idea. Could you guide to resolve the issue.

Config for launching the HCMPF form is not correct, may be u can run the app from backend and use the url generated for configuring it. There are couple of ther threads on this kind of issue.

From LPd  have to pass like this:

Name Space : sap

Application: ASR_PROCESS_EXECUTE_OVP

Target App parameters: PROCESS=<Process Name>&INITIATOR_ROLE=HRASRD

Configuration=ASR_PROCESS_EXECUTE_OVP_CFG

If ur trying to embed in personal profile then its like this:

http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/asr_process_execute_ovp?PROCESS=<Process>&SAP-WD-CONFIGID=ASR_PROCESS_EXECUTE_OVP_CFG&APPLICATION_TYPE=PA&INITIATOR_ROLE=HRASRD

Main thing here is the Application name: ASR_PROCESS_EXECUTE_OVP

If it is for NWBC, how can I link the process to the applicaiton..??

I am getting same screen.

Select the process, but there is no process to select.

Pls suggest.

Thanks again yugandhar. Finally I could able to resolve myself using Launchpad component configuration
