Open from NetWeaver - Deactivation of the function

Hi all,

it is possible to deactivate the function "Open from NetWeaver" in Analysis for Office? About customizing or rights?

Could you look at Analysis > Settings > Support settings and make the desired platform selection there?  See picture below:

thank you for your response.

Unfortunately, with this setting it is only posssible to controll the notification to the preferred platform.

The functionality to "Open from NetWeaver" is still available.

Any other ideas?

Hi Daniel,

If you set the preferred platform and restart Excel, AO should hide all other Open / save options. For example this is how it should look like when you set it to BI Platform:
