Dear all,

Solution provided by SAP

Theses clients will be generated in the url at the time a theme is

created depending on the system the theme is created on.

In order to solve the issue you need to trigger a rebuild of your

theme in the target system with the different client.

In UI theme designer versions later than 1.4.0 there are two options

to do this:

1) Open the themedesigner, select your custom theme in the theme-list

and then click the "Rebuild" button above the theme-list.

2) Open the themedesigner and open your custom theme. After loading a

theme and a random preview application, select the "Save&Build" menu

entry in the theme-menu. (There is no need to change any parameters)

In UI theme designer versions prior to 1.4.0 there is only the second

of the options described above:

2) Open the themedesigner and open your custom theme. After loading a

theme and a random preview application, select the "Publish" menu

entry in the theme-menu. (There is no need to change any parameters)

The rebuild should create new image paths including the client token

of your system.

Hi,

we have exactly the same problem ... after transporting the design and opening the theme designer with a random application we're able to see the logo which we setted ... after publishing it and using it with the launchpad we do not see it ...

We have the same problem with this strange client ...

We also went through the solutions provided by Vijay but we weren't successful. Is there another configuration which needs to be done?

Greetings

Hi Stefan,

We were having a similar problem with logos in Theme Designer. See if SAP Note: 2053334 solves this issue for you. In our case after applying the note we are now not always able to see the logo when using the theme designer, however when the theme is applied to an application it works as expected.

Kind Regards,

John

Hi Vijay/Masa,

I'm having a similar problem with setting my customized theme to the default theme in the Gateway system. I have rebuilt the standard SAP sap_bluecrystal and customized it to the necessary needs.

Every time I set it to be the default theme, and I launch the launchpad after, all formatting is gone.

Do you have any suggestions of where the disconnect is?

Hello Masa

  • The image url path is like (which is wrong)
    • "/sap/public/bc/themes/~client-331/~cache-1407670006519/UI5/sap/fiori/themes/sagia_blue/img/misc/sapUiGlobalLogo.png"

  • The image url path should be
    • "/sap/public/bc/themes/~client-550/~cache-1407670006519/UI5/sap/fiori/themes/sagia_blue/img/misc/sapUiGlobalLogo.png"

Hi Masa

We are not passing any theme parameter for lanchpad. We have set it in default parameter in the /UI2/NWBC_CFG_CUST in param "SAP_FLP"

as per doc

Dear Masa,

Here is my observation

  • The image url path is like "/sap/public/bc/themes/~client-331/~cache-1407670006519/UI5/sap/fiori/themes/sagia_blue/img/misc/sapUiGlobalLogo.png"
  • the above url response is 404 not found error
  • If I download the custom theme from /ui5/theme_tools and browser the theme folder to the above path i able to see the correct image

Vijay

Hi Vijay,

How about other color properties? Does it work fine?

Please check it is overall theme issue or just logo file path issue.
