CCLM facing "service cannot be reached" error but don't know which service should be actiavated.

Dear Mr. /Ms,

In my test solman system (SP12), I tired to use CCLM transaction. It opened the website for the service. But in the "overview" of it, it shows "service cannot be reached" error. I assume some service was not activated. But I don't know which is it.

By the way, mine solman is SP12, but as discribe in note 1547234, the attachment of it only provides untill SP10. I used this to upload the library ot it and it seems to be work. Is this OK?

Thanks,

Best regards,

Legend,

Hello Legend,

Before you can use CCLM transaction, you need do the custom code management setup with t-code 'solman_setup' in sp12. Did you already finish all setup there?

if not, please first do the setup.

Hi Shuge,

Thanks for the reply.

Yes. I have finished the setup. I assume some service needs to be activated in SICF transaction.

Because I tried to activate some before and before that the "library definition" and "object" are shown like this situation too but after the activation in SICF they worked.

So right now I think I need a service name to activate and then the "overview" part would work too.

Thanks,

Legend,

I had the same issue as you describe and solved it by activating service /sap/bc/ui5_u15/sap/citymodel in SICF. I identified this service by looking for 403 errors in the icmhttp.log file in the work directory of our Solution Manager system.

Thanks Daniel,

This solved it for me; wish I could award points but I wasn't the poster. Mr. Fu?
