Hi Gurus,
Need your help.
I have one order having two items
X - Net weight 1500 G
Y - Net weight 2 KG
Header total weight - 3.5 KG
But in delivery everything is same but system is calculating 3500 KG
In delivery system is not converting G into KG. I have searched many threads but not found related to that issue.
Could you please tell me whether this is std behavior or is there any notes need to implement?
Please help
Regards
You can check if the conversion is in place in material master for G to KG. If that exists then system should automatically convert the units.

If that would be the standard behavior then I doubt that SAP could even be considered as a serious competitor to other software companies in the ERP market.
I'd rather think this is just caused my wrong maintained master data.
you probably know that the data has its origin in the material master, from where it flows to the sales order and from here to the delivery.
If you check your material master today, then you might see a correct value. But you have to consider the time and check as well the change history as it could be that a wrong value was corrected, just after the order was created.
So basically to analyze the root cause you need to check the relevant data in the material master, which is the alternative unit of measure screen, which has the weight per unit.
(the basic data screen has only the weight for the base unit, it is possible to maintain different weights for alternative units- hence check in the right place).
Next is to check the weights for the items in the sales order items, as this is usually the basis for the weights in the delivery. (of course you need to check the change history too)
And finally the change history of the delivery.
if you don't find the root cause yourself, then add the screenshots from all objects from the screens with the weights

Hello,
How it's in the MM03 the Y item weight? What's the unit that its using there?
