Inhouse Repair Process Implementation effort in CRM and ECC (rough estimation)

Hello,

Inhouse Repair process should be implemented (complete process from repair return over loan delivery, loan pickup to quality notification

Does anybody know what might be the implementation effort in both CRM and ECC as  a rough estimation.

In CRM the relevant item categories and action profiles with actions seem to be already available.  But in ECC there is for sure nothing available such as transaction types, item categories)

I would guess 18 days but I'm not sure about it.

Thanks in advance

Rainer

Hi

Inhouse repair process also has categorization like Level 1, Level 2  in SAPCRM and also some more configuration to be done for the process to be completed in addition to what you have mentioned,

It will around 4 weeks  in Developement and should be transported to QA and Production later on,.

Did you consider ARM solution which will give you a step by step  integration to Logisitcs in ECC  and flow back to CRM as well

POC will take around 2 weeks and  3 weeks for  Implemantation in Dev system

Reward points if this helps

Hi Surya,

Many thanks for your very helpful answer. I have heard about Advanced Return Management but have not got a clue what is behind.

Do you know where I can find the step by step documentation.

Best regards

Hi Surya,

Many thanks for your help. Next week I'm presenting this proces beside the standard complaint return to the customer.

Depending on the outcome I might come back to your offer.

Best regards

Hi Surya,

May I ask yo uan addition question as you have already implemented ARM.

What do you think is the addtional effort for implementing ARM compared to the standard complaint process as a guestimate.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Surya,

just for my clarification, does your guestimate cover CRM customzing only or also ARM settings in ECC. It seems that the customer has ARM in ECC not in place yet.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Surya,

we are still discussing the processes and there are a lot of open issues such as:

Inhouse Repair Process:

- Can I design the diagnose itme as service repair item (with service confirmation as follow up)
   I guess yes

- Can I use Service order Template for Inhous Reapir Order also
  I guess  yes
-  Is the status of the return itme updated from ECC (delivered, PGI)
   I guess no
- Can I use a service order template to copy something like task list (steps to be processed)
  I guess yes
- Can I add a spare part item to the inhouse repair order )as part of the repair steps)
I guess yes but ther is no reservation in ECC (ATP spot check only)

If you might be able to help me to answer soem of thre questions it would be great.

Many thanks in advance.

Best regards

Hi Rainer

You are saying you are creating service order with the repair item and then confirmation as a follow up . If so yes.

The status is updated from ECC into CRM - Yes We can .

It will create as a PR in ECC if there s no stock for spare part item  in CRM

Hope this helps
