LSO e-mail notification to booked participants

Dear all Gurus,

Using LSO, When a manager booked training for selected employees through

NWBC-> MSS -> Team -> Employee Course Assignment->Manage Participation,

How can we notify those employees via mail that his manager booked training for them with training details..??

What configuration has to do for that..?

I have done according to Shan Dinesh commented on

I have checked enable event queue, maintained the email address of training booking employee in IT0105 -  0010.

But the employee is not receiving mail. I  Checked in SOST also...but the mail is not triggered there as well.

Guide me what I should do.

Hi,

Maintain the email id in su01, you will get the notification in sap inbox.

I have already maintained in Infotype 105 0001.

As you told I maintained in SU01 also.

Hi Siddharth,

I have done the configuration the way u told. Now when I checked, for some employees the mail is triggering in SOST. And for some other employees the mail is not trigeering.

In IT0105 0010, I have properly maintained the mail id. I cross checked it many times.

So other than that , is the anything to check why the mail is not triggering to other employees.

And in table V_LSOCRPNOTIFGRP, what I have to do.?

in the above SPRO, ensure all the employees belong to correct groups etc, customization as shared above, Good news is its working for few employees so the config is indeed correct for non working ones, Please check the SPRO again, if the employees are in correct groups and have correct mails, etc assigned.

I couldn't find the path for checking the employee is in correct groups or not.

how i can check each employees with pernr,  whether they are in correct groups or not in spro.

pls guide the path in spro for that.

Hi Namsheed,

I think you have to goto view V_LSOCRPCONTROL and check the Automatic checkbox against the

Group: Confirm Participation

Role: Manager

Based on your Delivery Method(Ex: Classroom training or web based)

Hi Namsheed,

Please check this Transaction code :-  LSO_PP40  ( After Executing you can check whether sender & receiver mail Address is maintained or not )

Goto PP01 maintain Info Type Mailing for Org Unit (Mail id - for Sender) or you can maintain in SUO1.

Employee - PA30 Maintain Infotype 105 & Subtype 0010 (Mail id - for Receiver  )

After Successfully performing LSO_PP40,  Check SOST for Mail Notifications , check with Basis if not displaying
