SAP Cloud SDK : Creation of Form using Business Object Error

Hi Experts,

I have created custom business object with object based screen and i want to create form for this custom business object.

I have tried using this.

Step 1. Right Click on Business Object and select Create Form option.

Step 2. Enter the require information and click on Next 

Step 3.  Select the element from the business object you need to display in the form

Step 4. Select the default language English and Next and Finish it,

After finish it the form open in adobe reader automatically but i am getting error as shown below.

and In the solution explorer i can see this.

Can anyone help me why it display the error while open the newly created form.

What are the software i need to install or add-ons in my system to open the from or remove this error.

I have installed the Adobe Life Cycle Designer For SAP Business ByDesign 135.0XXX, Adobe Reader X(10.1.3) , SAP Business ByDesgin Add-In Adobe Life Cycle designer.

Kindly any software missing or any add-ons require to be install or upgrade?

Hi Alessandro,

I have design the newly created form in the Adobe Life Cycle Designer ES4 as show below just open it and drag and drop the element from Data View to Designer view

After save it ans close it.

After i have Check in all content for this form.

After i have create the print button mentioned under SDK guide to make print button.

when i open it and and click on Preview button it gives the No PDF found or below message.

please any suggestion on this issue or how to resolved it.

Check that the template group code is correct.

Also, the correct procedure to activate the changes to the form is the following:

1) Save your form and close

2) check out the entire template group

3) Activate the form

4) Activate the entire template group

5) check in the entire template group

6) reactivate the form

7) reactivate the entire template group

this is necessary, although it is a bit cumbersome.

Hello Alessandro,

Do you have any idea in the form how to display the multiple line item in the table?

Because i have display the data root level (Contract Details ) as well as Node (Multiple Product Details) level.

In my contract have mulitple product and when i click on Preview button i can able to see only 1 Record for product in table not multiple.

Here below screen is my contract with product details.

When i click on preview button its display on 1 record in table.

Please suggest me what can i do to display multiple record in table under form.

Hi Alessandro,

I have change in the form but sometimes in the table multiple data then the first record not display.

1) This is my Details in the screen.

2) When i click on Preview button the result display like this

Here the fist record missing in the product details.

3) I have done the change as shown below.

I have drag and drop the table from library in the fist Header i have change the header text

after i have select the Row1 and do the changes as per your last reply.

Kindly let me know what is the issue.

Uhm never happened to me: are you sure that at the moment of the pdf generation all the rows are present in the business object node?

Hello Alessandro,

I have solved the multiple line display in the table.

I have issue to display the no of character in the table.

I have Create custom business object and create the form i am using the TectCollection type in table level in businessobject node.

Case 1. This is my Entry1 in the business object and it display as shown below.

Here in the table "Undefined Text" is my 1000+ character text.

When i click on preview button the data display under the PDF as shown below.

Here the above screen we can see that the data comes perfectly in the PDF without missing data in table level.(Please i have not rename the columns name).

Case 2.  When i Create new entry 2 and enter the multiple lines into the table as shown below.

Here in the above screen we can see that i have multiple row under the table.

When i click on preview button the PDF display with all the line under the table but the data is missing under the third column as shown below.

Here above screen display the same result but the in the yellow highlighted part full data not display as previous case 1.

Why the full data display in Case 1 and not in Case 2?

Is there any configuration to display data ?

Also i can not change the property of the page in form to "Allow Page Break with Content" this option is disable.

Kindly suggest me what is wrong in this PDF design.

Some Questions :

1) How to make Next Page if the large data in the table level?

2) What is the restriction of page in the form (PDF)?if i have 1000+ line in the table is should be display in PDF with all the content ?

So the above post if i have 10+ rows in the table the data is not display in the table with all the rows.

What is the solution or which property i need to change in PDF to display the all the data with Next Page with proper value.

1) did you try changing the "allow page break" not on the page, but on the table or on the subform where the table is?

2) no limits!

Hello sir,

I have change the 2 property.

1) Table level : 1 change only

check the check box "Allow page break content" to true.

2) Subform level : 2 changes only

  2.1 Content : Followed

  2.2 check the check box "Allow page break content" to true.

and i have activate and deploy and check the result but the ID is repeat each and everything page as shown below....

Please let me know whats wrong in the setting.

Hello Sir,

Sorry for inconvenience but i have resolve that issue.

Steps to resolve this issue:

I have assign the each and every element in the master page level like in my case i have 2 objects

1) is ID and other is subform(table).

I have drag and drop these 2 objects in master page level and change the setting as you mentioned previous.

So finally my form looks like this.

Please check and let me know if i am doing wrong the above steps.

Hi Mithun

1) remove the table from the master page and put it back as before

2) remove the id from the master page and put it in the page 1 outside the table
