Hi,
I'm using DTP filter to "reload and drop" requests into InfoCube. I need to make sure each month, each region, I have only 1 request, otherwise I'll duplicate the data.
However, when I see the requests in "Requests" tab, in "Selection Conditions", company codes are displayed first. Because we have so many company codes in each region, I even cannot see month selection here. I have to get into DTP Monitor, double click "Selections" to see my full selections. It's not good for daily check.
Is there a way to adjust the sequence in "Selection Conditions", to make month selection in front? To the snapshot below, for the first 4 requests, I want to display like this: "BUPER=201408-201408;BUKRS=AU10;BUKRS=IN10;BUKRS=JP10..." Thanks!
Hi guys,
Thanks for your answers. I'm already using PC to automatically delete duplicate requests. So if the PC is running properly, I should be alright. But I still want to find a way to display month selection in front, so I can make eye check easily, when I need to manually handle it in case PC goes wrong.
I select by region because I need to update at different time for different regions. So I need company code as selection condition.
I'd like to focus on the question itself. Until now I still cannot find a good alternative. Thanks!

Hi,
if you have year selection like 2010,2011,2014, create the full dtp using the filters give the year selections.
how many years loading the data if yes load the year wise selections insteading loading company codes.
Thanks,
Phani.

Hi,
Agree with Sakthi, this isn't the most efficient way to do it. If you have too many CC/Period combinations, create a full DTP for each combination. Then in the PC, add a delete overlapping requests step.

Hi Edwin,
I don't think, its possible. it always arrange on alphabetical order i guess.
for your issue, why can't we automate the process, like dont load, if the cube, already contains certain months of data. we can filter this out automatically right?
so either you can automate this, by writing abap to restrict the data or you can write a small program to give for any company code, if we have more than 1 request at a time.
let us know if you need any logic for this.
Regards,
Sakthi.
