Which SAP Web Dispatcher version to use for updating:

• If you have installed a SAP Web Dispatcher with any 7.2x version, update it using the latest 7.20 SAP Web Dispatcher from SAP Software Download Center.
• If you have installed a SAP Web Dispatcher with any 7.4x version, update it using the latest 7.41 SAP Web Dispatcher from SAP Software Download Center.
• The SAP Software Download Center currently provides only ASCII version of SAP Web Dispatcher. Use these even if the installed SAP Web Dispatcher is a Unicode version

Thank you for the reply. But, I am looking for Web Dispatcher Kernel but not the Web Dispatcher.

I need to update the Kernel version of my SAP Web Dispatcher. Could you help me with this?

Hi,

If you already have web dispatcher installed, download the latest patch and apply it on the existing one.

That should serve the purpose.

Hey!

Yes I already have a web dispatcher installed and I want my Web Dispatcher Kernel to be updated to the latest one.

My doubt is, do we have a separate web dispatcher kernel ? or latest kernel patch can be achieved only by patching the web dispatcher on the whole? Kindly suggest a solution I am confused here.

Just mount the latest kernel patch on the existing one. You don't need a separate web dispatcher kernel.
