Post SP16 issues

Not sure anyone else seen these issues

Just updated our Dev system to SP16.

1. Now the roles owners cannot approve UAR requests assigned to them. Error message "Enter the notes for approval/rejection "

2. When we create a new "Generates data for access request UAR review" job, in Background Scheduler job status stuck in "In Process". In Background Jobs - status says  cancelled.

No issues with all other functionalities. I did a search in SAP notes and forums, cannot find anything relevant.

Dear Sonny,

for the first issue please check the MSMP settings. Make sure the "Comments Mandatory" is only activated for "Rejection" or leave it empty. Also activate the workflow again to make sure you have the latest version active.

The second issue seems that you are missing some configuration. Do you see any log in SLG1? Is the request type (Parameter 2004) activated?

Thank you for looking into this.

Everything was working prior to the SP update

I checked the MSMP settings. I had the comments mandatory set to blank. I changed it to "Rejection" and activated the workflow and tried again. Still the same.

For the second issue I checked the configuration - all ok. Just ran a new UAR job and checked in SLG - no errors.

I opened a customer message with SAP as well. Haven't heard anything yet.
