data loading hourly delete index and create index are generating abnormal archives in DB level.

Dear Experts,

Recently my sales billing data loading hourly to cube , as per sap best practices in process chain delete index & create index are in chain, basis team said create index are creating abnormal archives in database level & server going down, process which i used he saying incorrect, pls correct me where i am wrong or provide solution, after removed the create index in process chain no issues in DB level basis said , but my query performance very poor. my data model is 3.x
