Transport Request Error

Hi Experts,

We hav fresh BW 7.3 system. I got package and project name from basis. But im getting below error when trying to assign TR. Please guide me as am new to BW.

Hi,

Error message clearly saying you can't add request that given project.

You may dont have rights add your transports to specific project.

Ask TL and get the right project name you assign transports.

Even why your giving project name while assign transport.

You may just need give custom package name only.

Thanks for the prompt reply. In my previous project, i will get pop up asking for package name. But here i didnt get any. is there any settings i should be aware of ?

Actually how your creating transport request?

Once pop up comes, just click on white patch and create new transport.

When i click on white patch i got the above pop-up (img posted), there is no option to select package as u see.

Dear Phani,

Custom package hav bn already created but not getting TR  pop up when i activate object.

By default its saving in $tmp.

Anyhow BASIS guys resolved the issue. it seems some authorization issue.

Hi,

if don't have the specifci custome package create the custom package in SE80

then give the same package to while doing the transport.

giving project not mandatory.

check the authorization you have assigning the project name.
