Java fail to start during SSL configuration

Hi

We are in the middle to configure SSL in SAP Portal 7.30 server. In server, SSL configuration was already done.

We deleted the views for following Java Key pair entry:

ICM_SSL_16699

ICM_SSL_16699_50001

Service_SSL

and started to configure SSL again. We used "Adding new SSL access point" option in NWA/SSL to configure SSL.

After we completed all steps to configure SSL, we saved and restarted server but Java process fail to start. Dev_server0 has following in log:

[Thr 1543] *** LOG => SfCJavaVm: exit hook is called. (rc = -2106)

Pls help to fix this problem.

Thanks

Amarjit

Thanks to all for reply and suggestions. Problem is fixed but one thing is still not clear.

Here is the details:

If i'm using the "icm/server_port_2" to define the HTTPS port, then there are no issue. Everything works.

But when i'm using "icm/server_port_1" to define the HTTPS port, then some services are not starting and Java instance fail to start. I'm getting following logs in this case:

RMI-P4 startup was delayed; could not get access point from ICM. Possible reasons are:

        1. The ICM has not started yet

        2. Default slot for RMI-P4 was replaced by another configuration, and there is not correct RMI-P4 port configuration in system profile

RMI-P4 core service could not start without opened access point in ICM. RMI-P4 will try 22 times again to get access point from ICM in the next 11 seconds#

I checked all profiles parameter but we have not defined "icm/server_port_1" and "HTTPS port 50001" anywhere. Not sure why system is not supporting the "icm/server_port_1". I'm trying to find the reason of this issue.

Pls suggest to find out the root cause of this issue.

Thanks again for all your support.

Hi,

Before restarting the Java server did you check if all the respective process/services were stopped.

Try to restart the instance and check std_serverX file for that time to find more details and paste the error.

1628335 - J2EE System fails with "exitcode -1501"

1840741 - J2EE System failed with error "Cannot open Join Port"

Dear Amarjit,

Make sure whether you have again created the SSL Key Pair with the same name "Service_SSL" if not you have assign the new Key Pair name to the Server Node and to the Dispatcher.

Also crosscheck the Certificate details.
