Re-read master data - dates should not change

We want that after “re-read master data” is opted in a Process Order, “Start date” and “end date” of the process order should not change. We want this for process orders with start date in the past. Please let me know if you can help how to achieve this.

Hi,

If you are not changed any master Data related date, like Routing time, or you have not changed any component which is highter period of time to receive. then only possible date not change.

Hi,

Once you are doing read PP master data date will be changed automatically as you might have scheduled in forward/backward/current. This is SAP standard behavior.

Check below exit.

PPCO0007  Exit when saving production order

Hi,

If you re-read the master data and new times are determined in the Recipe, then is not going be possible to keep the same start and end date.

Do you only what to consider changes in the BOM when you re read master data?

Kind Regards,

Ok.. thanks.. Yes, changes in BOM only. For process orders in future we were able to do it (avoid changing start/end time/date) but not possible for past so far - unless someone got it..

Hi,

I don't think this is possible with the standard SAP.

You can try to add your logic thru an implicit enhancement.

I was debugging the reread in PP (production orders) and I found some Enhancement points available in Include: LCOKO1F2P.

Hi Consult Sprt,

If you want to read only BOM changes by using Read PP master data, you have to choose the "New BOM" check box and  un check the "New Routing". By doing this, system will copy the changes in BOM only. Just try and revert back.

Thanks

Thanks a lot for your reply...

But these two fields are appearing grayed out! Can you guess what should be the problem here?

SPRT,

In material master for header material in MRP4 view check the selection method it should be 2 Selection by Production Version so that you can have option to choose the New BOM and Recipe in Read PP Master data.
