Hello Gurus -
Our requirement is - One sales order at the end of the month (example 20 ea), but we cannot produce all that last week of the month.
We would like to see MRP driven planned orders/ production order 5/5/5/5 per week. No PIR, as it is Make to Order.
Then we can produce 5 each week to meet the goal of 20 at the end of the month.
They can be part of the WBS project or can be just standard MRP.
Please advise.
Thanks in advance.
Hello
You should try with a fixed lot sizing procedure and a takt time.

SAP dude,
I think you just gave us an example of 20 kg per month..what if you get an order of 100kg instead of 20 kg per mnth?
so what you need to do is first find how many KG you can produce per day based on your capacity.
lets say you can produce 5 kg per day and thats the max based on your capacity. so assuming your plant works 7 days per week. its about 35 kg per week.
now use fixed lot size of 35kg and takt time of 7 days. based on this, system will create planned order for 35kg for week 1 and so on when mrp is run
