IW58- IS-Utilities box is appearing in this transaction as input for selection?

Hello,

I am working on a client where IS-Utilities solution is activated. While using IW58 / IW28, I find that it is also having IS-Utilities fields as input for selection of notifications. We do not requires this box/fields.

Do we have any way to hide these fields/box? Any setting in IMG leads to this activation?

Please share your thoughts.

Thanks Rakesh/Pete, In this ISU project, actually service management (read notification) is pulled just for creating incidents. But the reference object for notifications will never be any installations etc. So, when any user will search notifications, he/she should not see these ISU fields. These fields got activated because of IS-U implementation I believe. So if known how exactly it got activated, then it can be rectified there itself. So, actually looking for this piece of information. Yes, variant/transaction creation is always an option available. Thanks & regards, Rajesh

You are correct, its activated as part of the ISU add-on.

Bear in maind that others may want to see these ISU fields... So making it a global setting may not be suitable/practical.

The easiest way is to save a user-variant in the form U_XXXX - where XXXX is you SAP Logon ID.

In this variant, ensure you hide the relevant fields.
