SAP PI Generic Alerts to exclude ABAP Application Alerts

Hi Folks

We have setup the PI ABAP based generic alerts and they are working good, but we have a scenario where in we may have to exclude ABAP application errors alerts. When I look at the alert config in the alert rules, we have specific alerts to choose but not to exclude a certain alert. I would appreciate any suggestions.
