Getting issue return code 9 in SAP SLT

I am facing return code 9 error in SAP SLT which defined as "RC = 9: Update of logging table in sender system failed"

message showing in error log under Application Log - execution of program /1CADMC/OLC_6510000000000758 failed,return code 9

what could be the possible reason of this error.

Hi there,

I get those errors from time to time too.

I usually do then the following:

go to TA se37 and enter the name of the (failed)program.

Then I go to display program. Just in the beginning of the code (still under remarks) you will find the "migration" object: That's the table (log) that failed to update.

Then I check the contents of the table in source and then in Hana. I have really rarely a difference.

It's "just" the update of the logging table that failed, but actually, all data has been transferred.

Well, my personal findings are, that at the point of time when the update failed, the logging table was somehow locked. Maybe be itself, or the same process.

Nowadays, I rarely go for checking that. It's a "nevermind" returncode to me.

But, maybe someone else can enlighten us?
