How to check my server is SMP server or not?

Hello Experts,

We've been given one server and I am trying to figure out whether it is SMP server or not.

In the process, I learnt many things about SMP 3.0 and acquired good understanding of the same. But still I haven't succeeded in figuring out the server I am having.

Need help.

Regards,

Harsh

I doubt its sup 2.x server. Can you try with below default credentials:

User Name: supAdmin

Password: s3pAdmin

You should check with administrator for more assistance.

Why dont you talk to the person/team who is in-charge of that sup/smp server and get it clarify from him if there is any related server

There are certain constraints on that point that's why I drove myself posting on SCN

Harsh,

SMP is a seperate server, it is not a component of an SAP system, so it won't show up in your list of installed components of the SAP system.

See SyBooks Online for documentation on installation and/or upgrade of an smp 3.0 server. You will need a seperate license for that though.
