Problem with custom User Search in Portal!

Hi All

I have created a search iView with a reference to an index I created, which indexes the User directory of the UME repository. I have had this working, but today I had to remove the indexes and then recreate them now they are recreated this is the only one that does not seem to work. I think I have just missed something out.

When I try to search I get the message 'Select at least one search index'

Any ideas?

Hi Phil,

sounds like you have not set a search index itself within the iView. If you wanted the Who's Who iView to get working, see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/05/a62c42de59da2ce10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm - Preselection of the search index.

Thanks for that - actually I managed to solve it quite quickley and it was an internal problem with our connetcion to AD and also the crawler was having problems. Once the index was created and the crawler had run it all worked fine!
