HANA installation: After set NI_USEIPv6, installing is holding at "Starting SAP HANA Database System.....".

SUSELINUX: 11SP3

SAP HANA: 1.00.82

IPv4: 155.1.30.239

IPv6: 2607:f0d0:1002:11:0001

in /etc/profile:

NI_USEIPv6=1

When installing HANA HDB Server, screen is holding  at "Starting SAP HANA Database System.....". Not go to next step.

But Ipv6 binding is ok. "http://[2607:f0d0:1002:11:0001]:50013?wsdl" can be accessed.

If removed "NI_USEIPv6=1" from /etc/profile, everything is ok except IPv6. That means "http://[2607:f0d0:1002:11:0001]:50013?wsdl" can't be accessed.

    I can't find any proof either way, but I see no mention of IPv6 in any HANA documentation, so it's not clear if it's supported.

    Can you post the contents of the index server trace file whilst starting the system? It should give you some information.
