    hi,

    you have to create first the update rules for the ods , with assignment to infosource and activate it. if you haven't create the infosource then you have to create it, and assign the infosource with datasource, to upload data, create infopackage.

    Hi,

    Just check that it is not a "transactional" ODS from the settings inside the ODS. If so, then you would need to load it using an ABAP program.

    Bye

      Hi Dear;

      If they are standard type and you have been asked to load into the same ods/cube, Do the following:

      1. you need to find out what are the associated components (data source, infosource, transfer rules, update rules etc) for that ods/cube.

      2. If they are not installed into your system go to RSA1 > transport connection and install the required components.

      3. If you have been asked to creat a report using some ods/cube, you need to see if your requirments will be fullfill by those standard ods/cube, may be you need to enhance the datasource or even have to create a new ods/cube.
