Hi Vidya, this IDOC interface determination for shipments is missing from this configuration scenaio, I guess that is your question?

Did you miss a step earlier to generate this part, or is it possibly lower under "Unassigned Objects"?

Hi Aaron,

Actually i configured by following the step 'Apply model from ES repository' ,but after i configured this part ID objects are getting generated i followed the steps below.

Use

In this activity you transfer a standard integration scenario for shipment integration from the Enterprise Service Repository (ESR) to the Integration Builder. This scenario is used for transfer of TM objects to SAP ERP as IDocs.

Procedure

  1. On the Integration Builder: Configuration screen, choose ToolsApply Model from ES Repository.
  2. Select the Process Integration Scenario radio button.
  3. Select configuration scenario TM_ERPShipmentIntegration_Out using the input help on the right-hand side and choose Apply.
  4. The fields within ES Repository Model Reference should contain the following entries:

Field Name

Input Value

Name

TM_ERPShipmentIntegration_Out

Namespace

http://sap.com/xi/TMS/Global/IC

Software Component Version

SAPTM IC 1.10

  1. Choose Continue.
  2. On the Transfer Model from ES Repository screen, select the following scenario name:

Field Name

Input Value

Name

TM_ERPShipmentIntegration_Out _<YourTM>CLNT<client>_<Your ERP>CLNT<client>, for example, TM_ ERPShipmentIntegration_Out _ RTTCLNT110_RT5CLNT180_

Choose Finish.

  1. The next screen shows the results, choose Close.
  2. In the Model Configurator, choose the Assign Component. The first system is highlighted in red.
  3. Go to the Business system components for A2A tab.
  4. Go to the Communication Component field and use the value list on the right-hand side.
  5. On the Choose Communication Component screen, select the following value under Search criteria:

Field Name

Input Value

Value

All Business System Components

  1. Select the corresponding system (your TM Business System) in the list that appears and choose Apply.
  2. Choose the right arrow button for Next role and repeat steps 9-12 for your SAP ERP business system.
  3. Choose Configure Connection in the top area.
  4. Return to the Connections from Component Assignment tab.
  5. Assign the communication channel for the receiver system in the right-hand area (Receiver Business System Components) using the input help.
  6. In the Choose communication components dialog box, select the corresponding line for your business system within the lower area:

Field Name

Input Value

Business system: SAP ERP

Communication Channel from Receiver Agreement

Your generated Communication channel for IDoc Adapter;, for example, GeneratedReceiverChannel_IDoc

Business system: SAP TM

Communication Channel from Receiver Agreement

Your generated Communication channel for XI-Adapter;, for example,

GeneratedReceiverChannel_XI

  1. Choose Apply.
  2. Repeat steps 16-18 for each required connection by choosing the blue arrow to go to the next connection.
  3. Choose Create configuration objects. In this step, you create all the configuration objects that you require for your integration scenario. You can also perform a simulation for testing purposes.
  4. In the Create configuration objects dialog box within the General section, select the Generation radio button and the Use existing radio button in the Change List for Generated Objects section.
  5. Choose Start and the system creates all the required configuration objects.
  6. The results of the generation process are displayed in a log. Close all windows and choose Apply to confirm the messages.

As you pointed out, there is nothing mentioned in that part of your instructions about the shpmnt IDOC, so perhaps it is missing from a previous step.

You might be using the component view "SAP ERP EhP5 or higher with SAP TM 9.0 or higher" where i don't see any action for create shipment.

May be you can try with "SAP ERP EhP4 or higher with SAP TM 9.0 or higher" component.

I was referring to the component view. Please refer to below screenshot.

Click on "select component view" button and select "SAP ERP EhP4 or higher with SAP TM 9.0 or higher" which has got "create shipment" action.
