HANA TransactionNotification Object type 10000053 missing

Hi all,

I have some custom code in TransactionNotification in SQL that I'm trying to get working in HANA.

I'm checking if the object_type is 10000053 (table: OITL).

This works in SQL when for example I'm adding a Delivery document.

But in HANA it appears that this object type somehow doesn't get in the TransactionNotification.

This is on version 9.2 PL4.

Does any of you know a solution for this?

Kind Regards,

Bram

    Hi,

Delivery object type is 15 not 10000053.

      Hi Nagarajan,

I know Delivery object type is 15, but I want to run this code for every inventory transaction (Delivery, Goods Issue, Goods Receipt, etc.).

This is why I check on object type 10000053, so that I don't have to catch all the different documents separately.

      Kind Regards,

      Bram

No. You have to create separate TN for each transaction. You can't control using single object code for all inventory in/out transactions.

But we have this already working fine in SQL for some time now.

Shouldn't it be the same for HANA? Or has it been changed for HANA?

The logic is same for SQL and HANA. Please check all stored procedures in SQL. Should be separate TN for each document.

I don't know which ones you mean, because I can't seem to find them.

We are using the SBO_SP_TransactionNotification and SBO_SP_PostTransactionNotice stored procedures for this.

In these procedures in SQL we can catch object type 10000053 (OITL table) but not in HANA.

    Check under SBO_SP_TransactionNotification

      I'm already using that one.

The problem is that in SQL I can get the value '10000053' from the object_type variable, but in HANA this isn't the case.

In HANA the procedure doesn't get called with that value.
